About Tapdaro
Tapdaro is a directory where people find local restaurants and order from them directly. It adds no platform fee and no markup: the restaurant sets its own prices and is paid directly.
Who runs it
Tapdaro is built by Abizvo, a business operations platform from Abizvo Inc., based in Scarborough, Ontario. A restaurant on Tapdaro runs on Abizvo: its menu, prices and hours come from its own point of sale, and an order goes straight to its kitchen.
How it pays for itself
Restaurants pay nothing to Tapdaro per order. Abizvo earns its living from restaurants that subscribe to its software. Taxes and any delivery charge are shown before you order.
What works today
- Search by restaurant, dish, cuisine, city or postal code, and order pickup without an account.
- Pay at the counter, or online on the restaurant's own payment account where it takes card payments.
- Follow your order live, and order again from your last order.
- Order at your table by scanning the code on it.
- Catering from restaurants and catering businesses: ask for a date, the caterer approves, then you pay.
- An Android app on Google Play.
What we're working on
- More restaurants, starting around Scarborough and nearby Toronto neighbourhoods.
- Recurring office lunches, with budgets and invoices.
- Loyalty and offers that restaurants run themselves.
